World of Fun rolls out ‘Fun Pamilya’ campaign

JENNIFER Andaya, a mom and wife to an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW), regularly brings her two children to the mall during weekends.
It has become almost a habit for the family to play at the arcade for an hour before heading for a quick snack at favorite their fast food chains.

She says that this is her way of bonding with her children and giving rewards for a good school performance.

“Malling,” defined as going to a shopping mall and whiling away the hours, has become a way of life for a lot of Filipino families.

From a mere shopping place, malls have become central in Filipino families’ lives, becoming a place to pay bills, attend Mass, meet or watch people, or just share bonding moments with family and friends––and that is not about to change even in present times.

“Consumer preferences have been changing with the current economic conditions but we still see them going to the malls to beat the stress and the coming summer heat. After all, malls still offer cheaper entertainment activities.” says World of Fun general manager Antonio N. Abaya Jr.

For years, through changing economic and social landscapes, World of Fun has continued to bring total family entertainment within reach by as many market segments as possible, offering them superior entertainment that suits their needs and budgets.

In its continuing effort to give more fun and value to Filipino families, World of Fun is launching its “Fun Pamilya” campaign with the tag line “Sa World of Fun, Todo Saya, Todo Fun Pamilya.”

The new campaign aims to encourage families to spend more quality time with each other at World of Fun––and to support this effort, WOF is improving further its services and product offerings, and organizing more events where the entire family can participate in.

And to kick off the Fun Pamilya campaign, WOF’s search for the next Videoke Idol has been revamped to include a seniors division, in addition to the kids and youth categories.

Now on its fourth year, Videoke Next Level, Fun Pamilya Na!, will cover all family members.

Kids Category will include 8-12 years old; Youth Category will be for those from 13-21 years old while Senior Category will be targeted to adults ages 22-30 years old. This event will run from April 1 to June 13, 2009.

World of Fun will also be launching the Fun Pamilya Extravaganza; a raffle promo that offers prize showcases that has something exciting for every member of the family.

Customers who purchase the Fun Family Treat and Fun Barkada Deal special token packages will automatically get a corresponding number of raffle coupons. This Fun Pamilya Extravaganza 2009 will run from April 13 to May 27, 2009.

Along with the nationwide promotion of the Fun Pamilya campaign are local store promos and events like the Fun Pamilya WOF It Up Games. Family members will enjoy new WOF It Up Games and more Fun Pamilya activities at all WOF branches soon.
